Scooters appeared due to public's need for inexpensive personal transport. Energy crises during mankind's history are the cause. Looking back we 'll see that after Great Wars, scooters' construction and production was in high numbers and very extreme designs. I think that this extreme design came out from the scooters' brand origins. The companies that made these scooters had a close relation with Aviation!!! The era 1918 - 1948 was catalytic for the scooters' creation and high income develloped countries as USA, Great Britain and Germany were the first and then Italy and Japan the country-manufaturers that had shown large conflict in technical development.
